Current Project: String Theory
- Here’s a description of the novel I’m working on, STRING THEORY:
If thirty-five year old Rose Darling doesn’t finish her novel soon, then she’ll never be able to mentally and financially separate herself from her wealthy, overbearing mother. But Rose’s more significant struggle lies in her inability to accept the death of the father who died some ten years before, as displayed through both her juvenile tendencies and the infantile nature of the very characters she writes about.
STRING THEORY is an exciting, quirky, 80,000-word piece of literary fiction that explores what happens when our disillusions prevent us from growing up, and how the only way to move forward sometimes is to forget about logic and mathematical theories in order to embrace the real, raw, irrational emotions we’ve been masking all along.
